Strong and very durable infantry as well as the whole unholy/demonic look going for them aswell. (hopefully Ikit claw will come cause id be playing him alot more often than the other 2) but aside from me enjoying how they look they play fairly good with many infantry to pick from as well as good artillery. Well Ratmen swarming everywhere with no regards to how many lives it takes to take this small town. I enjoy the look of them alot as well as they do alot of damage to most things relatively quickly and fairly strong in most areas as well. I just enjoy the knight aesthetics aswell as throwing waves upon waves of peasents at whatever i need killed and then come in with a very satisfying charge of any cavalry.

Also lots of startpos choices to begin at. I enjoyed VC immensely in warhammer TW 1, and for me this has all the fun parts of VC, which generally is infantry backed by monsters everywhere, and expands and improves on it pretty much at every aspect. Also having mages lead armies is something I enjoy immensely(I ALWAYS FORGET TO RECRUIT MORE MAGE HEROES!) Pretty much like my bit about the High Elves, except instead of becoming a total trade powerhouse you just get tens of thousands of slaves to turn an initially okay economy into one that can outperform even the biggest of dwarf realms. Trade income gets absurd mid-lategame, prepare to drown in just as much gold as the Dwarf factions are wont to do. Combined with ALL THE MAGICKS and a startpos that, sadly, ends up being pretty boring early on(And little choice in mortal empires for starting anywhere but ulthuan) means that repeatedly doing this campaign does bore at times. Archerspam has never been this ridiculous, but even without spamming archers you have solid everything(Except artillery, that area is pretty lackluster). Grudges are a nice bit of bonus gold every now and again.īEHOLD TRUE CHEESE. Lack of cavalry isn't a dealbreaker for me(I prefer artillery barrages and flanking with infantry and/or handgunner-type units). Start anywhere from Kraka Drak to southern Lustria, bringing a defensive and economic powerhouse with ALL THE GUNS. Start in the old world or the deserts of Araby with as difficult a start as I want(From passive earlygame to tryhard even on normal).Īrmy is extremely varied and brings enough options for pretty much everything I want to play.Įconomy is strong, lots of magic options, diplomatic game can be played and the game remains fun both early and lategame. Note that I use a faction unlocker and generally play as minor factions. the factions I always end up playing new campaigns as) in no particular order: Frostbite Ability! Very Similar to Chaos Warriors, but faster and more decisive which allow for High Risk/Reward playstyle.

Strong game of Disruption and Distraction. Basically like Skaven just less extreme in Quantity over Quality and more options.Īggressive, pure rushdown faction with a focus of locking down the enemy and staying in combat. Unique very strong magic with Big Waaagh and Little Waagh Spellbooks. Tons of flexibility with a focus on rushing down and enveloping the enemy with higher numbers. Jack of all Trades with huge unit roster.

Basically just better/more interesting Vampire Counts with the coolest artdesign in the game. Incredible Artillery options with Bone Giant and Casket of Souls. Expansive Roster with focus on strong Anti-Large options for both good aggressive and defensive playstyle. Interesting mix of traditional units and Constructs with unique mechanics, which allow for lots of flexibility. Gyro Units for easy scouting and disruption. Strong defensive playstyle and special range units like flamethrowers or rangers that allow for creativity in the formation setup. Also exciting artdesign.įocus on Heavy Infantry with high Endurance and Devastating Artillery. Focus on fast and aggressive Infantry Combat as well as Heavy Flanking (especially with Witch Elves and Shades), complemented by tanky Monsters like the Hydra and few but crucial Cavalry Options. Well rounded roster with lots of killing power and armor piercing range units. Share your favorite Factions from both W:TWs and explain why. Im curious as to what Factions are popular and used often in the community.
